Black & White Swirl Vinyl LP With Four-Page Insert

Real Gone Music and Second Disc Records issued this 50th anniversary edition of The Flasher in July 2023 under catalog number RGM-1532. It is pressed on black vinyl with a white swirl, billed as "night sky" vinyl, at Gotta Groove Records, and was sourced from the original tapes held in the Universal vault. A four-page insert carries rare photos and new liner notes by Joe Marchese, drawn from interviews with singer Lenie Colacino and Rupert Holmes. John Sellards designed the package around the original artwork.

This is the album's first reissue in any format. It first appeared in 1973 on Greene Bottle Records, a Paramount Pictures affiliate, which stopped promoting it on learning the record was the soundtrack to an X-rated film first titled Forbidden Under Censorship of the King and later retitled The Flasher.

Pool-Pah were a New York band: Colacino on lead vocals, Bruce Handelman on bass and trumpet, Seth Handelman on guitar and saxophone, Billye Arrington on guitar and Rick Stabile on drums. Holmes, years before "Escape (The Pina Colada Song)," co-wrote and recorded the album with them and plays keyboards and clarinet.

Holmes wrote "Sour Soul," which Big Sean later sampled on "O.T.T.R." in 2011. Beck featured the album in a 2001 Vanity Fair piece.

Shipping Speeds & Delivery Estimates

Delivery timelines are estimates, not guarantees.

Estimated delivery windows are quoted at checkout based on the shipping speed you select and your delivery address. Transit time begins after your order has been processed.

Typical delivery within the United States ranges from 3–7 business days after shipment, depending on location and selected service. Delivery times for Canada vary by destination and carrier, and may be affected by customs processing.

While most deliveries arrive within the quoted window, occasional delays may occur due to weather, carrier volume, or other factors outside our control.

Shipping Rates

Shipping costs are calculated and displayed at checkout based on destination, package weight, and selected delivery speed.

Signature Requirements

Orders totaling over $250 may require a signature upon delivery to help ensure safe receipt. This is applied based on order value and carrier guidelines.

• Please retain all original packaging, including the outer box and packing materials

• Contact us as soon as possible (ideally immediately) after delivery

• Include your order number, a brief description of the issue, and clear photos

Prompt reporting allows us to resolve issues efficiently and, when applicable, pursue carrier claims.

Refunds

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method after inspection (if a return is required).

• Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the error was ours

• Refund timing may vary depending on your payment provider

Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

We strongly encourage customers to contact us directly with any concerns before filing a credit card dispute or chargeback.

Once a dispute or chargeback has been initiated, we are unable to proceed with refunds, replacements, or reshipments until the case is fully resolved. Resolution timelines are controlled by the payment processor and can take up to 120 days.

Preorders

Preorders may be cancelled for a full refund at any time before the order ships.

Once a preorder has shipped, it is treated as a completed order and is subject to the return, refund, and exchange policies outlined above.
