Indie Exclusive Hot Pink Vinyl

The independent record store edition of Tales For The Rages, on a single LP of hot pink vinyl. It is released by Iodine Recordings under catalog number IOD-87, with six songs on side A and seven on side B, opening with "Still On The Couch," the song in the video above.

This is Piebald's first full-length album in nineteen years. The band wrote and recorded it between 2019 and 2025, after reuniting in 2016. Longtime collaborator Doug Batchelder recorded and produced it at The Den in North Reading, Massachusetts, Jay Maas mixed it, and Jack Shirley mastered it at The Atomic Garden. Iodine's notes describe songs about aging, friendship, inequality, consumerism and political frustration. The lineup is Travis Shettel and Aaron Stuart on guitars and vocals, Andrew Bonner on bass and Luke Garro on drums.

Piebald formed in Andover, Massachusetts, in 1994 as a hardcore band, came up in the same scene as Converge and Cave In, and later moved to Somerville and the Boston indie rock circuit. We Are the Only Friends We Have carried the singles "Just a Simple Plan" and "American Hearts," and Accidental Gentlemen in 2007 was their last album of new songs before they broke up, playing farewell shows in April 2008. They signed with Iodine in June 2024, and the label reissued We Are the Only Friends We Have on vinyl in 2025 before releasing this album.

Shipping Speeds & Delivery Estimates

Delivery timelines are estimates, not guarantees.

Estimated delivery windows are quoted at checkout based on the shipping speed you select and your delivery address. Transit time begins after your order has been processed.

Typical delivery within the United States ranges from 3–7 business days after shipment, depending on location and selected service. Delivery times for Canada vary by destination and carrier, and may be affected by customs processing.

While most deliveries arrive within the quoted window, occasional delays may occur due to weather, carrier volume, or other factors outside our control.

Shipping Rates

Shipping costs are calculated and displayed at checkout based on destination, package weight, and selected delivery speed.

Signature Requirements

Orders totaling over $250 may require a signature upon delivery to help ensure safe receipt. This is applied based on order value and carrier guidelines.

• Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the error was ours

• Refund timing may vary depending on your payment provider

Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

We strongly encourage customers to contact us directly with any concerns before filing a credit card dispute or chargeback.

Once a dispute or chargeback has been initiated, we are unable to proceed with refunds, replacements, or reshipments until the case is fully resolved. Resolution timelines are controlled by the payment processor and can take up to 120 days.

Preorders may be cancelled for a full refund at any time before the order ships.

Once a preorder has shipped, it is treated as a completed order and is subject to the return, refund, and exchange policies outlined above.
