This is the transparent orange pressing of Muuntautuja, the sixth studio album by the Finnish band Oranssi Pazuzu, released by Nuclear Blast on October 11, 2024. It is a single LP in a gatefold jacket and comes with a lyric sheet. The disc labels carry catalog number NB 5626-1, and Optimal Media in Germany pressed it.
Oranssi Pazuzu formed in 2007. The name joins oranssi, the Finnish word for orange, with Pazuzu, a wind demon from Babylonian mythology. Juho "Jun-His" Vanhanen sings and plays guitar, Jarkko "Korjak" Salo plays drums, Toni "Ontto" Hietamäki plays bass and keyboards, Ville "Evil" Leppilahti handles keyboards and effects, and Niko "Ikon" Lehdontie, who joined in 2016, adds guitar and electronics.
The album follows Mestarin kynsi (2020). It was recorded between November 2021 and December 2023 at E-Studio, Astral Studio, Cellar of Deposition and Inner Oscillations. Nuclear Blast's notes describe black metal, electronics and noise meeting in what the label calls "nightmarish Rave music," and single out the opener, "Bioalkemisti," for its groove.
The title track, in the video above, and "Valotus" were both released with official music videos. Side B opens with the extended version of "Valotus."

Shipping Rates
Shipping costs are calculated and displayed at checkout based on destination, package weight, and selected delivery speed.
