Remastered 2CD Deluxe Edition

Reprise issued this two-disc set on July 10, 2026 for the album's 15th anniversary. Disc one holds the remastered album, and disc two gathers nine bonus recordings that had never been on a physical format: the Japanese bonus track "Zero Percent," the iTunes-only "We Don't Need Another Song About California," the three songs of the Mad Gear and Missile Kid EP, a BBC Radio 1 session take of Pulp's "Common People," a session take of "Na Na Na," and two live songs from the 2011 iTunes Festival in London.

Reprise's notes describe a pink neon spider on the cover, a 24-page booklet with rare photographs, and disc labels printed with two different Killjoys characters. The original album's three short radio interludes narrated by Dr. Death Defying are not part of this edition.

Danger Days was the band's fourth album. Gerard Way, Ray Toro, Frank Iero and Mikey Way recorded it with Rob Cavallo in Calabasas, California, between June 2009 and July 2010, and Reprise released it on November 22, 2010. It is a rock opera set in a desert California in 2019, where a gang called the Killjoys fights the corporation Better Living Industries; each member took a Killjoy name, from Party Poison to the Kobra Kid.

The album opened at No. 8 on the Billboard 200 with 112,000 copies in its first week and topped both the Top Rock and Top Alternative Albums charts. It holds a Metacritic score of 70, NME gave it 8 out of 10, and the RIAA certified it Platinum in 2026.
