Appalachian Smoke is the debut album from Mountain Grass Unit, the Birmingham, Alabama quartet of Sam Wilson, Josiah Nelson, Drury Anderson and Luke Black. Dualtone released it on August 28, 2026. This is the 180-gram black vinyl edition.
Six-time Grammy winner Vance Powell, whose credits include Chris Stapleton, Jack White and Phish, produced the record. The band cut it almost entirely live, without a metronome, mixing songs long played on stage with material worked up in the studio.
It is the band's first studio record as a full-time act, made after its members finished college in 2025. That year they played more than thirty sold-out shows and were named Momentum Artist of the Year by the International Bluegrass Music Association. Earlier releases include "Runnin' From Trouble," "Places I've Been" and a four-song self-titled EP.

Shipping Speeds & Delivery Estimates
Delivery timelines are estimates, not guarantees.
Estimated delivery windows are quoted at checkout based on the shipping speed you select and your delivery address. Transit time begins after your order has been processed.
Typical delivery within the United States ranges from 3–7 business days after shipment, depending on location and selected service. Delivery times for Canada vary by destination and carrier, and may be affected by customs processing.
While most deliveries arrive within the quoted window, occasional delays may occur due to weather, carrier volume, or other factors outside our control.
Shipping Rates
Shipping costs are calculated and displayed at checkout based on destination, package weight, and selected delivery speed.
Signature Requirements
Orders totaling over $250 may require a signature upon delivery to help ensure safe receipt. This is applied based on order value and carrier guidelines.

Once your order ships, you’ll receive tracking information via email. We recommend monitoring tracking updates and ensuring delivery to a secure location.
Evergreen Vinyl is not responsible for packages that are lost or stolen after being marked as delivered by the carrier. Customers are responsible for selecting a shipping address where deliveries can be received safely.
