Music On Vinyl's 180-gram LP of With Sympathy, catalog number MOVLP1512, with Arista and Sony Music Entertainment copyright credits on the sleeve. This UPC is the December 2019 run of that edition. The nine songs sit four on side A and five on side B, in the album's original order, opening with "Effigy (I'm Not An)," the official audio above.
With Sympathy was Ministry's debut album, released by Arista on May 10, 1983. Al Jourgensen had formed the band in Chicago in 1981, and Stephen George was its drummer at the time. The album was recorded in the autumn of 1982 at Syncro Sound in Boston with producers Vince Ely and Ian Taylor.
It reached No. 94 on the Billboard 200, and "Work for Love," "I Wanted to Tell Her" and "Revenge" were released as singles. Jourgensen left Arista early in 1984 and later disowned the record, saying the label had pushed him toward synth-pop; the band's next album, Twitch, took a much harder direction.

Delivery timelines are estimates, not guarantees.
Estimated delivery windows are quoted at checkout based on the shipping speed you select and your delivery address. Transit time begins after your order has been processed.
Typical delivery within the United States ranges from 3–7 business days after shipment, depending on location and selected service. Delivery times for Canada vary by destination and carrier, and may be affected by customs processing.

Shipping Rates
Shipping costs are calculated and displayed at checkout based on destination, package weight, and selected delivery speed.
Signature Requirements
Orders totaling over $250 may require a signature upon delivery to help ensure safe receipt. This is applied based on order value and carrier guidelines.
