30th Anniversary 3LP Box Set, Remastered By Bernie Grundman

This is the 30th anniversary edition of Kruder & Dorfmeister's DJ-Kicks, issued by !K7 Records under catalog number K7046XXXLP. !K7 presents it as the first time the mix has appeared on vinyl in its mixed form: the continuous set runs across three LPs cut at 45 RPM, six sides in all, packed in a box with the original imagery. The jacket and labels carry the subtitle The Complete Mix Edition, and the sticker on the box credits the remaster to Bernie Grundman.

The mix was first released by Studio !K7 in 1996 as part of the label's DJ-Kicks series. Peter Kruder and Richard Dorfmeister recorded and mixed it at their G-Stone Studio in Vienna, and Ali Kepenek's photography returns on this edition.

!K7's notes describe a set that slows things down across many genres, folding in rolling drum and bass from Aquasky, the acid lines of Hardfloor and the boom bap sampling and smoky atmospherics of Thievery Corporation. Two of the duo's own productions sit inside it: "High Noon," with Dorfmeister's flute and a harmonica over breaks, and "Black Baby," which closes the mix.

IMPALA's sales awards record 250,000 copies of the album sold in Europe. It reached No. 49 on the UK Compilations chart and No. 38 on the UK Independent Albums chart in 2000, and the anniversary reissue took it to No. 2 on the UK Dance Albums chart in May 2026.

• Please retain all original packaging, including the outer box and packing materials

• Contact us as soon as possible (ideally immediately) after delivery

Refunds

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method after inspection (if a return is required).

• Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the error was ours

• Refund timing may vary depending on your payment provider

Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

We strongly encourage customers to contact us directly with any concerns before filing a credit card dispute or chargeback.

Once a dispute or chargeback has been initiated, we are unable to proceed with refunds, replacements, or reshipments until the case is fully resolved. Resolution timelines are controlled by the payment processor and can take up to 120 days.

Preorders may be cancelled for a full refund at any time before the order ships.

Once a preorder has shipped, it is treated as a completed order and is subject to the return, refund, and exchange policies outlined above.
