Limited Edition Magenta 2LP In A Gatefold Jacket

4AD issues Live At The Barbican on two translucent magenta LPs, catalog number 4AD0922LP, described by the label as a limited edition. The gatefold jacket opens to live concert photography, and each disc sits in its own printed inner sleeve. Photography is by Steve Gullick, Cuan Roche and Patrick Amory, with design by Alison Fielding. The release carries the dedication "In loving memory of Steve Albini."

The record documents Kim Deal's sold-out concert at the Barbican in London on March 1, 2025, where she performed orchestrated arrangements of songs from her first solo album, Nobody Loves You More, then turned to The Breeders' catalog and earlier solo material. 4AD's notes state the evening was documented in full. It arrives almost two years after Nobody Loves You More was released on November 22, 2024. Deal has said of the studio album, "I have orchestration on this record. I would love to be able to perform these songs with an actual orchestra."

A 25-piece ensemble backed her: a band of Mando Lopez of The Breeders, Susan Voelz of Poi Dog Pondering, Lindsay Glover, Nick White and Rob Bochnik, plus an orchestra and the Shards choir. Teenage Fanclub's Raymond McGinley guests on "Come Running" and "A Good Time Pushed." Terry Edwards was musical director and Voelz wrote the string arrangements. Peter Deimel recorded front of house with Étienne Clauzel, and the two mixed the recordings at Studio Black Box in France; Heba Kadry mastered. A live film of the concert, directed by Cuan Roche, is released alongside the album.

Shipping Speeds & Delivery Estimates

Delivery timelines are estimates, not guarantees.

Estimated delivery windows are quoted at checkout based on the shipping speed you select and your delivery address. Transit time begins after your order has been processed.

Typical delivery within the United States ranges from 3–7 business days after shipment, depending on location and selected service. Delivery times for Canada vary by destination and carrier, and may be affected by customs processing.

While most deliveries arrive within the quoted window, occasional delays may occur due to weather, carrier volume, or other factors outside our control.

Shipping Rates

Shipping costs are calculated and displayed at checkout based on destination, package weight, and selected delivery speed.
