Black Vinyl LP With Lyric Sheet

The first vinyl edition of My First Karie: a 12-inch black vinyl LP at 33 1/3 RPM, pressed in Japan for Polystar under catalog number PROP-7014, in an A-style jacket with a lyric sheet. Polystar issued it in Japan on December 16, 2026, alongside first vinyl editions of Leur L'Existence and Le Roi Soleil, the three mini-albums Kahimi Karie recorded for the Trattoria label in 1995 and 1996.

Released on January 25, 1995, My First Karie was her major-label debut and reached number 14 on the Oricon albums chart. She wrote most of the lyrics herself. Polystar's credits list Keigo Oyamada as composer and arranger of "ELASTIC GIRL" and "ZOOM UP!," with further songs by Katerine, Tomoki Kanda, Gregori Czerkinsky and Bertrand Burgalat. "ZOOM UP!" drew attention through its use in a camera commercial, and Katerine's "DIS-MOI QUELQUE CHOSE AVANT DE DORMIR" became an ending theme for the Fuji TV late-night program Yoi Kuni.

"ELASTIC GIRL" was the lead track; its lyric is credited to Karie and Bryan Burton-Lewis. Polystar's notes credit the French-language lyrics and Karie's whispered vocals with the vivid impression the record made on the Japanese music scene of its day. The six songs are split three to a side.

Estimated delivery windows are quoted at checkout based on the shipping speed you select and your delivery address. Transit time begins after your order has been processed.

Typical delivery within the United States ranges from 3–7 business days after shipment, depending on location and selected service. Delivery times for Canada vary by destination and carrier, and may be affected by customs processing.

While most deliveries arrive within the quoted window, occasional delays may occur due to weather, carrier volume, or other factors outside our control.

Shipping Rates

Shipping costs are calculated and displayed at checkout based on destination, package weight, and selected delivery speed.
