Compact Disc in Jewel Case

This is the compact disc edition of plum, the debut solo album from josh conway, issued through Nice Life and Atlantic Records on June 12, 2026. A single disc in a standard jewel case holds all nine songs, roughly 35 minutes of music. The artist's own store photographs the disc printed in a deep plum shade, a small nod to the title.

Conway is a co-founder of the Grammy-nominated band The Marías, where he plays drums and produces. He has said that after years of helping other artists tell their stories as a producer, plum is the first time he stepped out of that role to tell his own. He has also described the title as a fruit that is soft and sweet on the outside with a hard pit at its center.

The album was recorded between Joshua Tree, Los Angeles and Paris. Conway executive produced it himself, with contributions from Jared Solomon, Joe LaPorta and Remi Wolf; when he announced the record he also credited producers Lewis Ofman, Alessandro Buccellati and Paul Cherry. His first solo single was the drum machine-driven "forget him," and "crumble" arrived alongside the album announcement. The opener, "bully," written by Conway with Jared Solomon and Paul Cherewick, runs a little over five minutes.

Conway first played the album live across PLUM: IN THE PIT, a sold-out three-night residency in Los Angeles staged around the image of the fruit's pit, and followed it with the plum tour, his first as a solo artist.

We strongly encourage customers to contact us directly with any concerns before filing a credit card dispute or chargeback.

Once a dispute or chargeback has been initiated, we are unable to proceed with refunds, replacements, or reshipments until the case is fully resolved. Resolution timelines are controlled by the payment processor and can take up to 120 days.
