Clear Vinyl With Purple Color-in-Color 2LP Deluxe Edition

This deluxe reissue, released by ATO Records on July 29, 2022, pairs Jim James's 2013 solo debut with a second LP of twelve previously unreleased b-sides, demos and alternate versions. Both discs are clear vinyl with an opaque purple color-in-color effect, housed in a tip-on gatefold jacket with rainbow foil, with custom inner sleeves and labels and a fold-out insert carrying new artwork. The records were pressed at GZ Media.

Regions of Light and Sound of God first appeared in February 2013. James, frontman of My Morning Jacket, wrote every song, produced and engineered the album himself, and had it mastered by Bob Ludwig. Rolling Stone's David Fricke called it "an eccentric, gently compelling pleasure."

The bonus LP holds demos of "State of the Art (A.E.I.O.U.)," "Dear One," "Actress" and "God's Love to Deliver," alternate versions of "All Is Forgiven," "A New Life" and "Moving Away," and "Read Between (Begin Again)," a previously unheard ballad.

Shipping Speeds & Delivery Estimates

Delivery timelines are estimates, not guarantees.

Estimated delivery windows are quoted at checkout based on the shipping speed you select and your delivery address. Transit time begins after your order has been processed.

Typical delivery within the United States ranges from 3–7 business days after shipment, depending on location and selected service. Delivery times for Canada vary by destination and carrier, and may be affected by customs processing.

While most deliveries arrive within the quoted window, occasional delays may occur due to weather, carrier volume, or other factors outside our control.

Shipping Rates

Shipping costs are calculated and displayed at checkout based on destination, package weight, and selected delivery speed.

Signature Requirements

Orders totaling over $250 may require a signature upon delivery to help ensure safe receipt. This is applied based on order value and carrier guidelines.

Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

We strongly encourage customers to contact us directly with any concerns before filing a credit card dispute or chargeback.
