180-Gram Black Vinyl 2LP in a Gatefold Jacket

New West Records pressed Live From Austin, TX on vinyl for the first time in 2017: two 180-gram black LPs in a gatefold jacket, with the fifteen songs spread across three sides and the fourth side left blank. Jim Wilson mastered the vinyl edition, and the lacquers were cut at SST in Germany.

Jerry Lee Lewis recorded the set for Austin City Limits on October 17, 1983, playing piano and singing throughout, and New West first issued it on CD and DVD in 2007. Cameron Strang and Gary Briggs produced the release, licensed from KLRU-TV. Terry Lickona, the program's producer, wrote the liner notes; he recalls that when he later tried to book Lewis for a return appearance, the answer was that Lewis did not think he could possibly do a better show.

Lewis came out of Sun Records in the 1950s alongside Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins and Roy Orbison. The Austin set reaches back to that era with "Great Balls of Fire," "Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin' On" and "Rock & Roll Over (Teenage Queen)," and takes in "You Win Again," "Chantilly Lace," "What'd I Say" and the gospel standard "In the Garden."

Typical delivery within the United States ranges from 3–7 business days after shipment, depending on location and selected service. Delivery times for Canada vary by destination and carrier, and may be affected by customs processing.

While most deliveries arrive within the quoted window, occasional delays may occur due to weather, carrier volume, or other factors outside our control.

Shipping Rates

Shipping costs are calculated and displayed at checkout based on destination, package weight, and selected delivery speed.
