Indie Exclusive Silver Vinyl LP

This is the limited silver vinyl pressing of Friends That Break Your Heart, a single LP that carries the album's twelve tracks six to a side. In the US it was issued to independent record stores as an indie exclusive. In the UK, Polydor and James Blake's own store sold the same barcode as an exclusive limited silver pressing.

Friends That Break Your Heart is the fifth studio album from the Grammy-winning English singer-songwriter. Republic and Polydor released it on October 8, 2021. It was first scheduled for September 10, then pushed back when the COVID-19 pandemic delayed physical production. The label's notes describe it as a concept album. Blake worked closely with the artist Miles Johnston on the cover painting, meant to hold the record's emotions in a single image, and Bradley Pinkerton handled the graphic design. The album reached No. 4 on the UK Albums Chart, and its Metacritic weighted average of 79 across 15 reviews marks generally positive notices.

Three tracks carry featured guests: SZA on "Coming Back," JID and SwaVay on "Frozen," and Monica Martin on "Show Me." Joji sings background vocals on "Life Is Not the Same," Dominic Maker adds vocals on three songs, and Nico Muhly wrote the string arrangement for the closer, "If I'm Insecure." "Coming Back" samples "Lake Shore Drive" by Aliotta Haynes Jeremiah, and "Foot Forward" samples Dan Hill's "Frozen in the Night." Randy Merrill mastered the record.

"Say What You Will" came out as the lead single on July 22, 2021, the day the album was announced, and its official video sits at the top of this page. "Life Is Not the Same" followed in August, and "Famous Last Words" in September.

Shipping Speeds & Delivery Estimates

Delivery timelines are estimates, not guarantees.

Estimated delivery windows are quoted at checkout based on the shipping speed you select and your delivery address. Transit time begins after your order has been processed.

Typical delivery within the United States ranges from 3–7 business days after shipment, depending on location and selected service. Delivery times for Canada vary by destination and carrier, and may be affected by customs processing.

While most deliveries arrive within the quoted window, occasional delays may occur due to weather, carrier volume, or other factors outside our control.

Shipping Rates

Shipping costs are calculated and displayed at checkout based on destination, package weight, and selected delivery speed.

Signature Requirements

Orders totaling over $250 may require a signature upon delivery to help ensure safe receipt. This is applied based on order value and carrier guidelines.

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method after inspection (if a return is required).

• Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the error was ours

• Refund timing may vary depending on your payment provider

Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

We strongly encourage customers to contact us directly with any concerns before filing a credit card dispute or chargeback.

Once a dispute or chargeback has been initiated, we are unable to proceed with refunds, replacements, or reshipments until the case is fully resolved. Resolution timelines are controlled by the payment processor and can take up to 120 days.
