Indie Exclusive Clear With Black & Red Splatter Vinyl 2LP
This is Wax Bodega's 2026 reissue of Death Spells, the debut album by Holy Fawn, pressed as an indie-retail exclusive on two discs of clear vinyl with black and red splatter. The ten songs run across four sides.
Holy Fawn formed in Phoenix, Arizona in 2015, when guitarist and vocalist Ryan Osterman started the band after leaving the folk project Owl & Penny. The band wrote, recorded and mastered Death Spells itself, with artwork by Maria Nemm, and released it on September 14, 2018. Triple Crown Records signed the band in March 2019 and reissued the album, announcing it with an official video for "Dark Stone."
Wax Bodega's notes cite Stereogum calling the music "all so beautiful" and Heavy Blog Is Heavy naming it "a landmark," and record that Thrice and Deafheaven each invited the band on tour and that Lamb of God's Randy Blythe praised the band. Wax Bodega has been the band's label since the 2022 album Dimensional Bleed.
Evergreen Vinyl ships records with care and attention to detail, using established carriers and packaging practices designed to protect physical media in transit.
