Limited Edition Orange Vinyl LP Reissue

This is the limited orange run of I Looked Out: one 12-inch LP at 33 1/3 RPM, issued by Canvasback/Transgressive. The label's notes call it a second pressing, with an April 18, 2025 street date. It followed the first vinyl run that January. Discogs lists the orange LP under catalog number TRANS843, with TRANS 843X etched in the runout on both sides.

Greg Freeman, a songwriter based in Burlington, Vermont, first put the album out in 2022 on the small label Bud Tapes. It slowly gathered attention and was picked up for reissue by Canvasback, the Transgressive imprint. According to the album's Bandcamp notes, the reissue was the first time I Looked Out had been pressed to vinyl. Freeman wrote every song and produced and mixed the record with Noah Kesey in Burlington between 2020 and 2022. Jackie Freeman shot the front and back covers.

The vinyl adds an eleventh track to the ten-song album: "Sound Tests, Scraps, Lists," a noisy sound collage that Freeman described to Penny as "a bunch of little ideas" stitched into one piece. It is exclusive to the LP. The digital reissue carries a different bonus, an acoustic "Long Distance Driver" sung with Merce Lemon. The label's notes quote Paste calling the album "one of the best rock records of this generation," and Paste included it in its roundup of the 25 best debut records of the 2020s.

Freeman's second album, Burnover, followed on Canvasback and Transgressive in August 2025.

Typical delivery within the United States ranges from 3–7 business days after shipment, depending on location and selected service. Delivery times for Canada vary by destination and carrier, and may be affected by customs processing.

While most deliveries arrive within the quoted window, occasional delays may occur due to weather, carrier volume, or other factors outside our control.

Shipping Rates

Shipping costs are calculated and displayed at checkout based on destination, package weight, and selected delivery speed.

Signature Requirements

Orders totaling over $250 may require a signature upon delivery to help ensure safe receipt. This is applied based on order value and carrier guidelines.
