Limited Red & Black Marble 2LP, Half-Speed Mastered

This is the limited red and black marble edition of Faith, one of several vinyl variants George Michael Entertainment and Sony Music issued on February 20, 2026, when the album came back to vinyl after more than a decade out of print. The ten tracks are spread across two LPs in a gatefold jacket, each disc in a printed inner sleeve carrying lyrics and credits. Side D is given over entirely to the 13-minute Monogamy Mix of "I Want Your Sex," in its three parts. Legacy's announcement notes that the mix appeared on the original 12-inch single and had not been available since.

Legacy says the album was newly mastered for this edition and cut at half speed. The record's credits name David Austin and John Webber for the remaster, with Webber cutting the lacquers. The discs were pressed on Biovinyl, a bio-based PVC made from renewable sources, at Optimal Media in Germany, and the jacket is printed with vegetable-based inks on FSC-certified paper and board. The runout on Side C carries the hand-etched line "This record is dedicated to my hopeless conquest."

Released in October 1987, Faith was Michael's first solo album after Wham!, written, arranged and produced almost entirely by him, with Chris Porter as engineer. It won the Grammy for Album of the Year and was certified Diamond by the RIAA in 1996. "Faith," "Father Figure," "One More Try" and "Monkey" each reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, which leaves Michael the only British male solo artist with four chart-toppers there from a single album. Rolling Stone placed the record at No. 151 on its 2020 list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.
