Transparent Blue Vinyl 2LP + Bonus 7-inch, Gatefold

Solid Brass Records catalog SBR35 is the limited first pressing of Go Kid Go [Remastered & Expanded]. It comes as two transparent cobalt blue LPs in a reverse-board gatefold jacket with printing inside the pockets, each disc in a custom printed inner sleeve, plus a bonus black 7-inch 45 numbered SBR35-7. Sonny Kay designed the package. Dan Coutant remastered the recordings from the original tapes at Sun Room Audio in the winter of 2026.

Franklin, sometimes written !franklin, formed in Philadelphia in 1992, came up through the city's 1990s DIY punk scene, and broke up in 2000. Go Kid Go, the band's first LP, came out in 1995. This set gathers everything the band recorded between 1993 and 1996: that album, the Something Blue Automotive, They Said It With Fireworks and Roy Is Dead 7-inch singles, rare compilation tracks, and two studio recordings issued here for the first time, The Baptisto and Michael. The 2026 jacket credits Ralph Darden and Brian Sokel on guitar and vocals, Roy Binnion on bass and Greg Giuliano on drums. Two untitled pieces are not printed on the jacket and sit second on side A and last on side B.

The bonus 45 reaches back further than the album. Everything In 3's comes from the band's first demo, recorded May 3, 1992 at Snug Fit Studios in Philadelphia, just three months after Franklin formed, with Eric Horovitz engineering and Stavroula Kritikos on bass. On the flip, Sunshine is taken from the Impact demo cassette and has Roy Binnion on bass.
