Black Vinyl LP With Printed Inner Sleeve

This is the single black LP edition of In The Eye Of The Storm, the live album Foreigner issued on July 24, 2026 as the soundtrack to the band's 50th anniversary concert film. Pressed as one disc in a printed inner sleeve under catalog number GHD6696, it divides the set by setting: side A carries the electric songs recorded at Ellis Island on September 6, 2025, and side B the acoustic songs recorded at Dumbo House in Brooklyn the following night. The CD edition adds "Long, Long Way From Home" to the Ellis Island set; the LP runs eight tracks without it.

The performances bring original members Lou Gramm and Al Greenwood together with former vocalist Kelly Hansen and current lead singer Luis Maldonado. On "Feels Like The First Time," released as the first single, Gramm, Hansen and Maldonado share the vocal, which the band's own announcement describes as the first time three generations of Foreigner singers performed together. The acoustic side closes on Maldonado's reading of Simon & Garfunkel's "Bridge Over Troubled Water."

The Ellis Island concert was filmed on a closed set in view of the Statue of Liberty and nearly called off when a thunderstorm rolled across New York Harbor as the band prepared to take the stage. That footage anchors a feature film produced by Vertigo Live Productions. Foreigner formed in 1976 around guitarist Mick Jones, and the release announcement puts the band's sales at more than 80 million albums worldwide, a catalog that includes the No. 1 "I Want To Know What Love Is," heard here in the electric set.
