Standard Black Vinyl LP in Gatefold Sleeve

This is the Republic Records vinyl edition of Lungs for the US market: one black LP in a gatefold jacket. The thirteen album tracks run six on side A and seven on side B. The band's official US store sells the same single-disc configuration, with side B closing on "You've Got the Love."

Lungs is the debut studio album by Florence and the Machine, first issued by Island Records in the UK on July 3, 2009. Florence Welch built the band out of her writing partnership with childhood friend Isabella Summers, and the record was made in the UK with five producers: Paul Epworth, James Ford, Stephen Mackey, Eg White and Charlie Hugall. Cenzo Townshend mixed most of the songs.

The album went to number one in the UK and number 14 on the US Billboard 200, sold more than three million copies worldwide, and won British Album of the Year at the Brit Awards. The band's official store adds that it was shortlisted for the 2009 Mercury Prize and spent 89 weeks in the UK top 40.

"You've Got the Love" is the band's cover of the Source and Candi Staton song, and it became their first UK top-10 single when it reached number five in January 2010. The cover image was photographed by Tom Beard with art direction by Tabitha Denholm. In it, Welch wears a set of prosthetic lungs built by Orlando Weeks of the Maccabees.

Shipping Speeds & Delivery Estimates

Delivery timelines are estimates, not guarantees.

Estimated delivery windows are quoted at checkout based on the shipping speed you select and your delivery address. Transit time begins after your order has been processed.

Typical delivery within the United States ranges from 3–7 business days after shipment, depending on location and selected service. Delivery times for Canada vary by destination and carrier, and may be affected by customs processing.

While most deliveries arrive within the quoted window, occasional delays may occur due to weather, carrier volume, or other factors outside our control.

Shipping Rates

Shipping costs are calculated and displayed at checkout based on destination, package weight, and selected delivery speed.

Signature Requirements

Orders totaling over $250 may require a signature upon delivery to help ensure safe receipt. This is applied based on order value and carrier guidelines.

• Refund timing may vary depending on your payment provider

Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

We strongly encourage customers to contact us directly with any concerns before filing a credit card dispute or chargeback.

Once a dispute or chargeback has been initiated, we are unable to proceed with refunds, replacements, or reshipments until the case is fully resolved. Resolution timelines are controlled by the payment processor and can take up to 120 days.
