Black Vinyl LP

This 2025 single-LP reissue of Rumours on black vinyl carries catalog number R1 3010 and was issued for the US market. It plays at 33 1/3 RPM and has the Warner Records "DTLA" center label. The disc was pressed in the Czech Republic, and the catalog number and barcode are etched into the runout on both sides. The 3010 comes from the album's original 1977 Warner Bros. catalog number, BSK 3010. The eleven songs are split six on Side A and five on Side B.

Rumours is Fleetwood Mac's eleventh studio album. Warner Bros. Records released it on February 4, 1977. The band produced it with Ken Caillat and Richard Dashut, working mostly at the Record Plant in Sausalito, California, during 1976. Songs by Lindsey Buckingham, Christine McVie and Stevie Nicks deal with personal and often difficult relationships, and were written as the McVies' marriage and the Buckingham-Nicks relationship ended. Christine McVie's "Songbird" was recorded in an all-night session at Zellerbach Auditorium in Berkeley. "The Chain" is the only song on the record that all five members wrote together.

Rumours was the band's first number-one album in the UK, and it also topped the Billboard 200. All four of its singles reached the US top ten, and "Dreams" went to number one. It won Album of the Year at the 1978 Grammy Awards, entered the Grammy Hall of Fame in 2003, and was added to the Library of Congress's National Recording Registry in 2017. As of February 2023 it had sold more than 40 million copies worldwide.
