Record Store Day Black Friday 2016 Limited Edition, 180 Gram 2LP in Gatefold Jacket

Filmtrax issued this double LP, catalog number BFDLP001, for Record Store Day's Black Friday event in November 2016, in a run of 1,000 copies. It was the first time the score had appeared on vinyl: two 180-gram discs in a gatefold jacket, with five cues on each side. A portion of the proceeds was pledged to The Journey Home Project, which connects donors with veterans' organizations.

The music comes from Peter Berg's 2013 film Lone Survivor, which follows a Navy SEAL team whose mission in Afghanistan goes wrong. Berg had used Explosions in the Sky recordings as temp tracks, and the Austin post-rock band went on to write more than 65 percent of the finished score. Steve Jablonsky, whose credits include the Transformers films and Berg's Battleship, scored the final reel. The band worked from Austin and Jablonsky from Los Angeles.

Jablonsky's four cues are spread across the set: "The Goat Herders" opens side B, "47 Down" opens side C, and "Letter Received / Taliban Attacks" and the title cue sit near the end of side D. The soundtrack was first issued digitally and on CD in December 2013 by Metropolis Movie Music and Back Lot Music, and its twenty tracks run about 65 minutes.

Estimated delivery windows are quoted at checkout based on the shipping speed you select and your delivery address. Transit time begins after your order has been processed.

Typical delivery within the United States ranges from 3–7 business days after shipment, depending on location and selected service. Delivery times for Canada vary by destination and carrier, and may be affected by customs processing.

While most deliveries arrive within the quoted window, occasional delays may occur due to weather, carrier volume, or other factors outside our control.

Shipping Rates

Shipping costs are calculated and displayed at checkout based on destination, package weight, and selected delivery speed.

• Refund timing may vary depending on your payment provider

Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

We strongly encourage customers to contact us directly with any concerns before filing a credit card dispute or chargeback.

Once a dispute or chargeback has been initiated, we are unable to proceed with refunds, replacements, or reshipments until the case is fully resolved. Resolution timelines are controlled by the payment processor and can take up to 120 days.
