30th Anniversary Splatter Vinyl LP

Cherry Red pressed this splatter vinyl edition of Where You Been, catalog number PBRED757X, to mark the album's 30th anniversary in 2023. It was issued for the UK's National Album Day that October, and the label lists it as a limited edition. The single LP keeps the original ten-song running order, five songs to a side.

Where You Been was Dinosaur Jr.'s fifth album, released by Sire in February 1993. It was the first record made by a new lineup: J Mascis with longtime drummer Murph and new bassist Mike Johnson. "It's the first time we've felt like a band for maybe six years," Mascis said on MTV's 120 Minutes at the time. It was also Murph's last recording with Mascis until the reunion album Beyond in 2007.

The record became the band's most successful up to that point. It reached number 50 in the US, where it sold more than a quarter of a million copies, and number 10 in the UK. The single "Start Choppin'" went to number 3 on Billboard's Modern Rock Tracks chart and into the UK top 20.

Mascis produced the album, and John Agnello engineered and mixed it. The cover paintings are by Angry Johnny.

Shipping Speeds & Delivery Estimates

Delivery timelines are estimates, not guarantees.

Estimated delivery windows are quoted at checkout based on the shipping speed you select and your delivery address. Transit time begins after your order has been processed.

Typical delivery within the United States ranges from 3–7 business days after shipment, depending on location and selected service. Delivery times for Canada vary by destination and carrier, and may be affected by customs processing.

While most deliveries arrive within the quoted window, occasional delays may occur due to weather, carrier volume, or other factors outside our control.

Shipping Rates

Shipping costs are calculated and displayed at checkout based on destination, package weight, and selected delivery speed.

Signature Requirements

Orders totaling over $250 may require a signature upon delivery to help ensure safe receipt. This is applied based on order value and carrier guidelines.

• Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the error was ours

• Refund timing may vary depending on your payment provider

Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

We strongly encourage customers to contact us directly with any concerns before filing a credit card dispute or chargeback.

Once a dispute or chargeback has been initiated, we are unable to proceed with refunds, replacements, or reshipments until the case is fully resolved. Resolution timelines are controlled by the payment processor and can take up to 120 days.

Preorders may be cancelled for a full refund at any time before the order ships.

Once a preorder has shipped, it is treated as a completed order and is subject to the return, refund, and exchange policies outlined above.
