180 Gram Black Double LP With Lyric Insert

Music On Vinyl's 2023 reissue brings the 1997 debut by Days Of The New to vinyl for the first time, as a double LP on 180-gram black vinyl under catalog number MOVLP3244. The twelve tracks run across four sides: four on the first, three each on the second and third, and two on the fourth. An insert printed with the lyrics comes with the records.

The album first appeared on Outpost Recordings, the label producer Scott Litt ran as a joint venture with Geffen, and Litt produced the sessions himself. It was recorded in October and November 1996 with Travis Meeks on vocals and guitar, Todd Whitener on guitar, Jesse Vest on bass and Matt Taul on drums. Vest, Whitener and Taul went on to form Tantric. The record is acoustic throughout, and the closing track, "Cling," is a home demo Meeks made on a four-track machine. Listeners call it the Yellow or Orange album, after the color of the disc and liner notes, to tell it apart from the band's two later self-titled records.

Days Of The New sold 1.5 million copies worldwide and was certified platinum in the US. Lead single "Touch, Peel And Stand" went to No. 1 on Billboard's Mainstream Rock chart, and Billboard later named it the greatest mainstream rock song of all time. "The Down Town" and "Shelf In The Room" followed as singles.

Shipping Speeds & Delivery Estimates

Delivery timelines are estimates, not guarantees.

Estimated delivery windows are quoted at checkout based on the shipping speed you select and your delivery address. Transit time begins after your order has been processed.

Typical delivery within the United States ranges from 3–7 business days after shipment, depending on location and selected service. Delivery times for Canada vary by destination and carrier, and may be affected by customs processing.

While most deliveries arrive within the quoted window, occasional delays may occur due to weather, carrier volume, or other factors outside our control.

Shipping Rates

Shipping costs are calculated and displayed at checkout based on destination, package weight, and selected delivery speed.

Signature Requirements

Orders totaling over $250 may require a signature upon delivery to help ensure safe receipt. This is applied based on order value and carrier guidelines.

• Please retain all original packaging, including the outer box and packing materials

• Contact us as soon as possible (ideally immediately) after delivery

Refunds

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method after inspection (if a return is required).

• Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the error was ours

• Refund timing may vary depending on your payment provider

Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

We strongly encourage customers to contact us directly with any concerns before filing a credit card dispute or chargeback.

Once a dispute or chargeback has been initiated, we are unable to proceed with refunds, replacements, or reshipments until the case is fully resolved. Resolution timelines are controlled by the payment processor and can take up to 120 days.

Preorders

Preorders may be cancelled for a full refund at any time before the order ships.

Once a preorder has shipped, it is treated as a completed order and is subject to the return, refund, and exchange policies outlined above.
