This limited pressing of Hollow Ground is on clear vinyl clouded with black smoke, with catalog number JAG310LPC2 printed on the shrinkwrap sticker. Jagjaguwar released the album on May 4, 2018. It is the first full-length from Cut Worms, the project of singer and songwriter Max Clarke, and followed the 2017 EP Alien Sunset.
Clarke grew up in Strongsville, Ohio, and is based in Brooklyn. Jason Finkel and Jonathan Rado produced the record. Six of the songs were recorded in July 2016 at Dream Star Studios in Los Angeles and the other four in December 2016 at Gary's Electric in Brooklyn. Clarke sings and plays guitar, bass, lap steel and keyboards, with David Christian and Rado on drums and Rado also on keyboards.
Jagjaguwar's notes for the album point to the Everly Brothers and the naivete of 1950s and 1960s pop, and name David Lynch as one of Clarke's creative touchstones. The album was announced in March 2018 with a video for "Don't Want to Say Good-bye", and it holds a Metacritic score of 80 based on seven reviews.

Shipping Rates
Shipping costs are calculated and displayed at checkout based on destination, package weight, and selected delivery speed.
