Gold Vinyl 3LP 30th Anniversary Edition in Hardcover Triple-Gatefold Sleeve

This is the gold vinyl edition of the 30th anniversary reissue of Love's Secret Domain from Infinite Fog Productions: three LPs in a deluxe hardcover triple-gatefold sleeve, with a folded full-color poster. Infinite Fog describes the set as expanded and fully remastered, and as the first time the album has been issued in its entirety on vinyl. The original thirteen tracks run across sides A to C, while sides D to F hold ten rare and mostly unreleased tracks and alternative versions from the same period. Martin Bowes of Attrition handled the remastering. The gold pressing was issued alongside a black 3LP and a 2CD digipack, and Infinite Fog repressed it in 2022 under the same barcode.

Coil recorded the album in London between January 1988 and October 1990, at Matrix, Milo and Point studios and at Bar Maldoror, and produced it with Danny Hyde. John Balance wrote the lyrics apart from "Things Happen", and the music is credited to the group. It first appeared in July 1991 on Torso, with Wax Trax! issuing it in the US, and its singles were "Windowpane" and "The Snow". The title doubles as an acronym for LSD.

Marc Almond sings on "Titan Arch", Annie Anxiety sings and wrote the words for "Things Happen", and This Heat's Charles Hayward plays drums, the title track among them. The cover is a painting by Steven Stapleton of Nurse With Wound, made on an outhouse door he found in Cooloorta, the Irish townland where he lives. Infinite Fog licensed the painting for this reissue and reproduces it in what the label calls "unseen definition."
