Sky Blue Vinyl LP, Limited to 500 Copies

Cadiz Music's reissue of Greatest Hits Vol. II, catalog number CADIZLP277, returns the Cockney Rejects' second album to a single LP pressed in sky blue vinyl. The label's solicitation describes the record as long deleted and caps this run at 500 copies. It is a UK release from the label that also issued the band's later albums East End Babylon (2012) and Power Grab (2022).

The original came out on EMI in 1980, the same year as Greatest Hits Vol. 1. Despite the name, it is a studio album, not a hits compilation. Production is credited to Layabout Briggs and Hippy Wilson, with Stinky Turner on vocals, Mick Geggus on guitar, Vince Riordan on bass and Nigel Wolfe on drums.

Side A carries "Oi Oi Oi", the 1980 song credited as the inspiration for the name of the Oi! genre. Side B opens with "The Greatest Cockney Rip Off", the band's biggest UK hit single and a parody of Sham 69's "Hersham Boys", and closes on "Blockbuster", a Nicky Chinn and Mike Chapman song. Both were among the four songs the band recorded for John Peel's BBC session on 13 February 1980.

Brothers Mick and Jeff Geggus formed the band in Custom House, East London, in 1978, and EMI signed them after just four gigs.

• Refund timing may vary depending on your payment provider

Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

We strongly encourage customers to contact us directly with any concerns before filing a credit card dispute or chargeback.

Once a dispute or chargeback has been initiated, we are unable to proceed with refunds, replacements, or reshipments until the case is fully resolved. Resolution timelines are controlled by the payment processor and can take up to 120 days.
