Opaque Red 7-Inch Vinyl Single at 45 RPM

"Good Luck, Babe!" on a limited 7-inch: pressed on opaque red vinyl and cut at 45 RPM, it has the single on side A and "Read & Makeout (Demo)" on side B. Island issued this 7-inch on June 28, 2024. The song had come out on streaming and download almost three months earlier, on April 5, through Amusement Records and Island Records. The center label repeats the cover photograph. The back of the jacket lists both sides among kiss prints and a winged pig.

Roan wrote the song with Justin Tranter and Dan Nigro, and Nigro produced it. It started in November 2022 as a verse-and-chorus sketch called "Good Luck, Jane!", during the sessions for The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess, her 2023 debut album. Months later Roan and Nigro came back to it and reworked the chorus. Nigro also played bass, synthesizer, guitar and keyboards. Paul Cartwright plays violin and viola, Sterling Mitchell Laws plays drums, Mitch McCarthy mixed it and Randy Merrill mastered it. The official lyric video came out the same day as the single and uses the Comic Sans typeface throughout.

The single was Roan's breakout. It entered the Billboard Hot 100 at No. 77 in April 2024, climbed to No. 4 that September, topped the Irish chart and reached No. 2 in the UK. At the 67th Annual Grammy Awards it was nominated for Song of the Year, Record of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance, and it won International Song at the Brit Awards 2025. NME, The Guardian and Rolling Stone each put it at number one on their lists of the best songs of 2024.

Shipping Speeds & Delivery Estimates

Delivery timelines are estimates, not guarantees.

Estimated delivery windows are quoted at checkout based on the shipping speed you select and your delivery address. Transit time begins after your order has been processed.

Typical delivery within the United States ranges from 3–7 business days after shipment, depending on location and selected service. Delivery times for Canada vary by destination and carrier, and may be affected by customs processing.

While most deliveries arrive within the quoted window, occasional delays may occur due to weather, carrier volume, or other factors outside our control.

Shipping Rates

Shipping costs are calculated and displayed at checkout based on destination, package weight, and selected delivery speed.

Signature Requirements

Orders totaling over $250 may require a signature upon delivery to help ensure safe receipt. This is applied based on order value and carrier guidelines.

• Please retain all original packaging, including the outer box and packing materials

• Contact us as soon as possible (ideally immediately) after delivery

• Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the error was ours

• Refund timing may vary depending on your payment provider

Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

We strongly encourage customers to contact us directly with any concerns before filing a credit card dispute or chargeback.

Once a dispute or chargeback has been initiated, we are unable to proceed with refunds, replacements, or reshipments until the case is fully resolved. Resolution timelines are controlled by the payment processor and can take up to 120 days.

Preorders

Preorders may be cancelled for a full refund at any time before the order ships.

Once a preorder has shipped, it is treated as a completed order and is subject to the return, refund, and exchange policies outlined above.
