Rhino High Fidelity Un-numbered Edition 180-Gram Black Vinyl LP

This is the un-numbered edition of Buckingham Nicks in the Rhino High Fidelity series. It is the companion to the 5,000 individually numbered copies that Rhino sold through its own store, with the same cut and pressing and no edition number on the jacket. Kevin Gray cut it at Cohearent Audio from the original analog master tapes, and Optimal Media pressed it on 180-gram black vinyl. It is the all-analog route Rhino took for vinyl, while the CD and streaming versions were drawn from high-resolution digital files remastered by Chris Bellman, who also cut the album's colored-vinyl variants.

The package is a heavyweight glossy tip-on gatefold jacket with an obi strip. The obi lists an exclusive insert with liner notes by David Fricke, and Variety reports that the notes are built on new interviews with Buckingham and Nicks. Like every 2025 edition of the album, it adds no bonus material: the original ten tracks, in their original order.

Buckingham Nicks was recorded at Sound City in Los Angeles with producer Keith Olsen and first issued by Polydor on September 5, 1973. It is the only album the duo made before joining Fleetwood Mac. Polydor dropped them after it sold poorly, and the record had been out of print in the US since the early 1980s when Rhino brought it back.
