2LP Standard Black Vinyl

This is the standard black edition of the 30th-anniversary vinyl reissue of Another Level, issued by Interscope and UMe with a street date of September 4, 2026. The album runs across two LPs and four sides, and the jacket's hype sticker reads "On 2LP Standard Black Vinyl." A limited Marshmallow Opaque 2LP was issued alongside it as a separate pressing. Side D closes with "No Diggity (Billie Jean Remix)," a bonus track that was not on the original 1996 running order.

Another Level was Blackstreet's second studio album, first released on September 10, 1996, two years after the group's debut. It was the first Blackstreet record with Eric Williams and Mark Middleton, who came in after Dave Hollister and Levi Little left. Teddy Riley produced most of it and also handled arrangements, programming and mixing, with Chauncey "Black" Hannibal sharing vocal and arranging duties.

It became the group's best-selling album. It reached No. 3 on the Billboard 200, held No. 1 on the Top R&B Albums chart for five weeks, and sold more than four million copies. "No Diggity," featuring Dr. Dre and Queen Pen and built on a sample of Bill Withers' "Grandma's Hands," went to No. 1 on the Hot 100 and won the Grammy for Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals.

The sequence has some personal touches. Riley's daughters Deja and Taja appear on their own interludes, "(Money Can't) Buy Me Love" reworks the Beatles' "Can't Buy Me Love," and "Blackstreet (On The Radio)" is an on-air interview with the group and Morris Baxter. In 2023, "Never Gonna Let You Go" appeared in Sam Esmail's film Leave the World Behind.
