This independent-retail exclusive presses The Seventh Day: Live in London on gold vinyl, a shade Turntable Lab's listing calls antique gold. Antenna Records issues it under catalog number ATR1002 as a single LP, with three songs on side one and four on side two.
The seven performances were taped at the Paris Theatre in London in April 1970 for a BBC Radio Sunday broadcast, and the back cover credits their use to an arrangement with BBC Worldwide. The lineup is the original four: Ozzy Osbourne on vocals and harmonica, Tony Iommi on guitar, Geezer Butler on bass and Bill Ward on drums and percussion.
The set draws on the band's first two albums. Their self-titled debut came out on 13 February 1970 and reached No. 8 in the UK; Paranoid followed that September and went to No. 1. Its title track was the band's first single, peaking at No. 4 on the UK singles chart and No. 61 on the Billboard Hot 100. The record closes on Carl Perkins' "Blue Suede Shoes."
