Black Double Vinyl in Gatefold Sleeve, UK Import

This is One Little Independent's double-LP edition of Vespertine, catalog number TPLP101, imported from the UK. Twelve songs run three to a side across two black discs, housed in a gatefold sleeve with printed inner sleeves. The label, then trading as One Little Indian, first put the album on vinyl under this same catalog number and barcode in 2001, and has repressed it several times since.

Vespertine is Björk's fourth studio album, first released in August 2001. She wanted an intimate, domestic record to set against the louder Homogenic (1997), and worked under the title Domestika before settling on the final name. Production began while she was filming her role in Lars von Trier's Dancer in the Dark, and much of the album was composed and edited in a New York loft.

The arrangements lean on harp, celesta, clavichord, strings and music boxes, the last made to order in transparent acrylic. Harpist Zeena Parkins plays on the record, and Björk brought in Opiate (Thomas Knak), Console and the duo Matmos, who built beats from household sounds such as shuffled cards and cracking ice.

Vespertine reached number 19 on the US Billboard 200 and number 8 on the UK Albums Chart, and went gold in Canada, France and the United Kingdom. Its three singles were Hidden Place, Pagan Poetry and Cocoon. The video above is Hidden Place, the opening track and lead single, directed by Inez and Vinoodh with M/M (Paris).

Shipping Speeds & Delivery Estimates

Delivery timelines are estimates, not guarantees.

Estimated delivery windows are quoted at checkout based on the shipping speed you select and your delivery address. Transit time begins after your order has been processed.

Typical delivery within the United States ranges from 3–7 business days after shipment, depending on location and selected service. Delivery times for Canada vary by destination and carrier, and may be affected by customs processing.

While most deliveries arrive within the quoted window, occasional delays may occur due to weather, carrier volume, or other factors outside our control.

Shipping Rates

Shipping costs are calculated and displayed at checkout based on destination, package weight, and selected delivery speed.

Signature Requirements

Orders totaling over $250 may require a signature upon delivery to help ensure safe receipt. This is applied based on order value and carrier guidelines.

Once your order ships, you’ll receive tracking information via email. We recommend monitoring tracking updates and ensuring delivery to a secure location.

Evergreen Vinyl is not responsible for packages that are lost or stolen after being marked as delivered by the carrier. Customers are responsible for selecting a shipping address where deliveries can be received safely.

• Please retain all original packaging, including the outer box and packing materials

• Contact us as soon as possible (ideally immediately) after delivery

• Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the error was ours

• Refund timing may vary depending on your payment provider

Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

We strongly encourage customers to contact us directly with any concerns before filing a credit card dispute or chargeback.

Once a dispute or chargeback has been initiated, we are unable to proceed with refunds, replacements, or reshipments until the case is fully resolved. Resolution timelines are controlled by the payment processor and can take up to 120 days.

Preorders may be cancelled for a full refund at any time before the order ships.

Once a preorder has shipped, it is treated as a completed order and is subject to the return, refund, and exchange policies outlined above.
