Black Vinyl LP

This is the standard black vinyl edition of Before The Day Has Gone, catalog TRR302LP on Temporary Residence: one LP carrying all ten tracks, five to a side, with Greek Fire opening side A and Il Maestro/If I could say opening side B. An MP3 download coupon is packed inside every vinyl copy. The label issued the album on CD and on an opaque red LP limited to 500 copies at the same time; the black LP is the regular pressing of the three.

It is Bellini's fourth album and their first since The Precious Prize of Gravity in 2009, about 41 minutes long. The basic tracks went to tape with Steve Albini at Electrical Audio in Chicago in 2012 and sat unfinished until the fall of 2017, when Giovanna Cacciola recorded her vocals with help from Sacha Tilotta, her son with guitarist Agostino Tilotta. Albini then mixed and sequenced the record on his own, the way the band has preferred since Small Stones in 2005.

Bellini came together in 2001, when Damon Che put a new group together during a Don Caballero hiatus and called on the Italian guitarist Agostino Tilotta, with Cacciola joining on vocals; both also play in Uzeda. Drummer Alexis Fleisig of Girls Against Boys took over from Che on the tour that followed the 2002 debut, Snowing Sun. On this record the four are Tilotta, Cacciola, Fleisig and bassist Matthew Taylor, a lineup the label's notes call Italian-American post-punk stalwarts.

Estimated delivery windows are quoted at checkout based on the shipping speed you select and your delivery address. Transit time begins after your order has been processed.

Typical delivery within the United States ranges from 3–7 business days after shipment, depending on location and selected service. Delivery times for Canada vary by destination and carrier, and may be affected by customs processing.

While most deliveries arrive within the quoted window, occasional delays may occur due to weather, carrier volume, or other factors outside our control.

Shipping Rates

Shipping costs are calculated and displayed at checkout based on destination, package weight, and selected delivery speed.

• Refund timing may vary depending on your payment provider

Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

We strongly encourage customers to contact us directly with any concerns before filing a credit card dispute or chargeback.

Once a dispute or chargeback has been initiated, we are unable to proceed with refunds, replacements, or reshipments until the case is fully resolved. Resolution timelines are controlled by the payment processor and can take up to 120 days.
