Limited Edition Brown Vinyl

This is the brown vinyl edition of Nature, Arthur Brown's album for Prophecy Productions. Prophecy lists the brown pressing at 400 copies, housed in a gatefold jacket with a padded inner sleeve, a 12-inch insert and a protection sleeve.

Brown was born in Whitby, North Yorkshire, in 1942, and Nature was made after he settled back in the region. Isaac McInnis recorded and mixed the album at Crooked Room Studio in York, and the album uses field recordings taken around Brown's moorland home, including rivers, wind, fire and footsteps in woodland.

Brown sings, and Dan Smith plays guitar, bass and keyboards and handles programming and backing vocals. McInnis adds keyboards and programming. Sam Walker plays drums, steel pans and percussion and sings backing vocals on "Nature" and "Seven", Claire Waller plays recorder on "Nature" and "Open Hearts", and Paul Elliott plays drums and percussion on "With a Tear". Kevin Tuffy mastered the record at Tuff Mastering in Berlin.

Prophecy's notes describe Nature as what Brown calls his pinnacle album. It follows Long Long Road, released on his 80th birthday in June 2022, and arrives 58 years after "Fire", the 1968 single by The Crazy World of Arthur Brown that reached number one in the UK and number two on the Billboard Hot 100.

The LP carries the eight album tracks. The two bonus recordings, "Unbounded" and "Another Way", are not on this pressing; Prophecy issued them on the 2CD artbook edition and on the 7-inch in its bundle.

While most deliveries arrive within the quoted window, occasional delays may occur due to weather, carrier volume, or other factors outside our control.

Shipping Rates

Shipping costs are calculated and displayed at checkout based on destination, package weight, and selected delivery speed.

Orders totaling over $250 may require a signature upon delivery to help ensure safe receipt. This is applied based on order value and carrier guidelines.
