Black Vinyl LP

Truth or Consequence is the live album that goes with the concert film of the same name, in which Australian pub rock and punk band Amyl and The Sniffers play their own songs as stripped-back country arrangements. This is the black vinyl pressing: a single LP under catalog number B2B007LP, with the Virgin Music Group mark on its center label and seven tracks on Side A, six on Side B.

The set was recorded and filmed at El Coyote in Los Angeles on April 28, 2025. John Angus Stewart, who has worked with the band for years, did the recording. Next to the reworked songs are two previously unreleased tracks and a version of "Lights on the Hill," the song made famous by Australian country singer Slim Dusty.

The reworked songs come from across the band's catalog. "Hertz," a single from 2021's Comfort to Me, is certified Gold in Australia. "Big Dreams," "Chewing Gum," "Jerkin'" and "Facts" were all singles from Cartoon Darkness, the band's third studio album, released in October 2024 through B2B Records and Virgin Music Group. The official video for "Chewing Gum" above was filmed at the same El Coyote show.

The album reached No. 23 on the Australian albums chart. In a statement at release, the band said it hoped the record would be heard as it was made, "in a ruckus exclamation between a cherished group of friends."

• Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the error was ours

• Refund timing may vary depending on your payment provider

Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

We strongly encourage customers to contact us directly with any concerns before filing a credit card dispute or chargeback.

Once a dispute or chargeback has been initiated, we are unable to proceed with refunds, replacements, or reshipments until the case is fully resolved. Resolution timelines are controlled by the payment processor and can take up to 120 days.

Preorders may be cancelled for a full refund at any time before the order ships.

Once a preorder has shipped, it is treated as a completed order and is subject to the return, refund, and exchange policies outlined above.
