Black Vinyl LP

This is the standard black vinyl edition of OK Orchestra, the fourth studio album by AJR, pressed on a single LP and issued on August 20, 2021, five months after the album's March 26 release. BMG put it out together with AJR Productions, the band's own label, under catalog number 538672581. The thirteen tracks run seven on Side A, ending with "Bang!", and six on Side B, ending with "Christmas in June."

AJR is the trio of brothers Adam, Jack and Ryan Met, and Ryan Met produced the record. For most of its making it was titled Mad Orchestra. The band swapped "Mad" for "OK" to carry the album's theme: worrying about becoming irrelevant and obsolete later on, while feeling OK in the present moment. Joe Zook mixed it and Chris Gehringer mastered it.

Five singles came from the album: "Bang!", "Bummerland", "My Play", "Way Less Sad" and "World's Smallest Violin." "Bang!" was the lead single, released in February 2020, and it reached the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100. "Way Less Sad" samples Simon & Garfunkel's "My Little Town," and Blue Man Group feature on "Ordinaryish People." OK Orchestra debuted at number 10 on the Billboard 200 dated April 10, 2021, the band's second top-10 album. It was nominated for Top Rock Album at the 2022 Billboard Music Awards.
