A single LP pressed on sunburst splatter vinyl for independent record stores.
Kings Of The Wild Frontier was the band's second album, released in November 1980 on CBS in the UK and Epic elsewhere. Chris Hughes produced it and, as Merrick, played drums alongside Terry Lee Miall; the two-drummer sound, which a 1981 New York Times article credited with bringing the Burundi beat to popular music, runs through the record. Adam Ant, guitarist Marco Pirroni and bassist Kevin Mooney complete the lineup, and the sessions ran from April to August 1980 at Matrix in London and Rockfield in Monmouth, Wales.
The album reached No. 1 on the UK Albums Chart, was certified Platinum by the BPI and Gold by the RIAA, and peaked at No. 44 on the Billboard 200. Its singles were the title track (UK No. 2), "Dog Eat Dog" (No. 4) and "Antmusic" (No. 2), and it won Best British Album at the 1982 Brit Awards.

Shipping Speeds & Delivery Estimates
Delivery timelines are estimates, not guarantees.
Estimated delivery windows are quoted at checkout based on the shipping speed you select and your delivery address. Transit time begins after your order has been processed.
Typical delivery within the United States ranges from 3–7 business days after shipment, depending on location and selected service. Delivery times for Canada vary by destination and carrier, and may be affected by customs processing.
While most deliveries arrive within the quoted window, occasional delays may occur due to weather, carrier volume, or other factors outside our control.
Shipping Rates
Shipping costs are calculated and displayed at checkout based on destination, package weight, and selected delivery speed.
Signature Requirements
Orders totaling over $250 may require a signature upon delivery to help ensure safe receipt. This is applied based on order value and carrier guidelines.
Tracking & Safe Delivery
Once your order ships, you’ll receive tracking information via email. We recommend monitoring tracking updates and ensuring delivery to a secure location.
Evergreen Vinyl is not responsible for packages that are lost or stolen after being marked as delivered by the carrier. Customers are responsible for selecting a shipping address where deliveries can be received safely.
