Turquoise Vinyl 2LP

This is the turquoise edition of Accept's 50th-anniversary album: two discs pressed in turquoise vinyl, holding all 19 tracks. The first LP carries ten songs, from "Fast as a Shark" through "Wrong Is Right," and the second carries the other nine. When Napalm Records announced the album, it listed black and silver double LPs and a 2CD set. It also offered a 2CD earbook, limited to 300 copies and sold only through its own shop.

Accept came together in Solingen, and 1976 is the year the band's professional career began, with a set at the Rock am Rhein festival. To mark 50 years, Wolf Hoffmann and the current band re-recorded 19 songs from the run of albums between I'm a Rebel (1980) and Eat the Heat (1989). Zeuss produced, mixed and mastered the sessions. Napalm's notes say no two tracks use the same combination of vocals, guitars, bass and drums. Rob Halford sings "Balls to the Wall" with Matthias Jabs on guitar. Phil Anselmo, Kirk Hammett and Mikkey Dee take on "Fast as a Shark," the Restless and Wild opener whose double-kick drumming is often cited as a forerunner of thrash. Tobias Forge sings "Save Us" with Frank Bello and Ray Luzier, and Billy Corgan sings "Love Child." The current lineup of Hoffmann, Martin Motnik, Philip Shouse and Christopher Williams plays "Hellhammer" with Jason McMaster of Watchtower on vocals. Gyula Havancsák painted the cover.

The album came out on September 4, 2026, and reached No. 3 on the German albums chart and No. 5 in Austria.
