Crow Sit On Blood Tree, originally released in 2001, is Graham Coxon's third solo album and the one where he stretched furthest as a songwriter. 'Burn It Down' buzzes with the same noisy alt-rock energy he brought to Blur tracks like 'Song 2', while the record's gentler moments - 'All Has Gone' and 'Thank God For The Rain' among them - reach toward the acoustic folk of Nick Drake and Bert Jansch. The whole thing was recorded, mixed and mastered in two weeks. "There's absolute mayhem on that at times, but there's quiet songs, too," Coxon has said. "I was still exploring different music and what I could do. I'll turn my hand to so many different types of music if it feels natural."

Available again as part of Transgressive's comprehensive reissue of Coxon's solo catalogue, following a first wave in June that included the previously unreleased studio album Castle Park, which reached number 6 on the OCC Independent Chart. Offered here on indie exclusive red and black colored vinyl and as a standard 2LP.
