Olivia Rodrigo - you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love (CD)

Standard CD

On CD, you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love plays as one unbroken 13-song sequence of about 51 minutes. The album is built in two halves, "girl so in love" and "you seem pretty sad," and on this disc the turn comes at track 8, "the cure."

Olivia Rodrigo issued the record through Geffen Records on June 12, 2026 as the follow-up to SOUR (2021) and GUTS (2023), with Dan Nigro producing once more.

Opening week brought 273,000 traditional album sales in the US, the best sales week of her career, and a No. 1 debut on the Billboard 200 that made it her third chart-topping album. It also entered the UK Albums Chart at No. 1, with more than double the first-week units of either SOUR or GUTS there.

Track 1, "drop dead," is the lead single heard in the video above, and it debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. Track 10, "what's wrong with me," features Robert Smith of The Cure.
