The 1966 debut album from Michigan garage-rock band ? & The Mysterians, built around their signature organ-driven sound. The title track was first cut for the small Pa-Go-Go label before Cameo-Parkway picked it up for national distribution; "96 Tears" reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 on October 29, 1966, and is widely cited as a garage-rock and proto-punk landmark. The album itself peaked at number 66 on the Billboard pop chart. This 60th Anniversary Deluxe Edition is a 2LP set on black vinyl with an etched B-side on LP2, issued as Record Store Day Essentials #104.
