Shing02 & Yakkle - I Miss You (7-inch)

I Miss You, titled 愛密集 in Japanese, pairs rapper Shing02 with producer Yakkle. This Jet Set 7-inch carries the original version on side A and the remix on side B. Jet Set's notes describe the song as a love story told entirely in Japanese lyrics and date its first appearance to 2012.

Both versions are produced by Yakkle. The remix adds guitar and saxophone, with scratches by Spin Master A-1, credited elsewhere as DJ A-1. The two versions were earlier paired on a limited 12-inch backed with Champ Magnétique, and a four-track digital EP of the song followed on Ramu Records in March 2020.

Shing02, born Shingo Annen in Tokyo in 1975, grew up in Japan, Tanzania and London before moving to California. He is known for his work with Nujabes, including the Luv(sic) series and Battlecry, the theme for the anime Samurai Champloo.
