The Dukes of Stratosphear were XTC's psychedelic alter ego, a project the band recorded under an assumed name across two releases in 1985 and 1987. Psurroundabout Ride collects both Dukes records - the 25 O'Clock EP and the album Psonic Psunspot - newly mixed for Dolby Atmos by Steven Wilson from the original multi-track master tapes and approved by XTC.
The CD carries the 2019 stereo mix of both 25 O'Clock and Psonic Psunspot plus two extra tracks. The Blu-ray adds the 2026 Dolby Atmos mix, the 2019 5.1 surround and stereo mixes, the original stereo mix, and the complete demos from both albums in hi-res stereo.
