Wasia Project is the English sibling duo of Olivia Hardy and William Gao, who pair her vocals and guitar with his classically trained piano across a blend of jazz, indie pop and cinematic alt-pop. The pair built their following through the EPs How Can I Pretend? (2022) and Isotope (2024), and reached a wider audience when their song "Ur So Pretty" appeared on the second season of Heartstopper, the Netflix series in which Gao also acts. Nocturne is their first full-length album. Issued on vinyl across two records.
