Car Button Cloth was the Lemonheads' sixth album, first released in 1996. Fire Records reissues it here for its 30th anniversary on limited white vinyl, as part of the label's ongoing series of Lemonheads reissues. The album carries two of the band's best-known songs: 'The Outdoor Type', written by Smudge's Tom Morgan, and 'If I Could Talk I'd Tell You', co-written with Eugene Kelly of The Vaselines. It also takes in a reading of the bluegrass standard 'Knoxville Girl'.

This is a single-LP pressing of the original thirteen-track album, with a download code for thirteen further tracks - single versions, remixes, acoustic and live takes, and the previously unreleased 'Arise', written for the remake of Great Expectations and later reworked as 'Rancho Santa Fe' on Evan Dando's solo album Baby I'm Bored.
