Originally released in 2006, Boys and Girls in America is the third studio album by Brooklyn rock band The Hold Steady and the record that carried them to a wider audience, built on Craig Finn's literate, barroom storytelling and songs like "Stuck Between Stations," "Chips Ahoy!" and "First Night." This Deluxe Edition, first assembled for the album's 10th anniversary, spreads a remastered version of the album across a 2LP set and adds four B-sides and six demos on the second record. This is RSD Essentials #107 — pressed on lavender eco vinyl via Vagrant Records, part of the curated RSD Essentials collection sold exclusively at independent record stores.
