A ? of WHEN is the second album by Panda Bear and Sonic Boom, the stage names of Noah Lennox and Peter Kember, following their 2022 debut Reset. Across ten songs the duo builds on loops of harp from Mary Lattimore alongside sequences of steel drum, pedal steel and fragments of a mariachi band, a deliberate sonic departure from Reset. Kember had previously co-produced Lennox's solo albums Tomboy and Panda Bear Meets the Grim Reaper before the pair began recording together.
