Orquesta La Super "C," led by the elusive bandleader Vicente Guzman, came out of the Nuyorican salsa underground of the 1970s Bronx and East Harlem: raw, fast, horn-and-percussion-heavy salsa dura built for the club floor and never widely released. Nearly fifty years on, Charly has remastered and reissued the album, with the title track "Mujer Brava" and the dancefloor anthem "Se Fue Mi Negra" among its New York hits. Pressed on limited red 140 gram vinyl.
