Mitski returns with Nothing’s About to Happen to Me, her eighth studio album and a continuation of the sonic world she established on The Land Is Inhospitable and So Are We. Written and performed entirely by Mitski, the album expands on that record’s orchestral and ensemble-driven approach, pairing intimate songwriting with rich, carefully layered arrangements.

Produced and engineered by Patrick Hyland and mastered by Bob Weston, the album was recorded across Sunset Sound and TTG Studios with the touring band and additional ensemble instrumentation. Standout tracks include “Where’s My Phone?”, “I’ll Change for You,” and “If I Leave.”

This release is offered here as the exclusively indie-retail color vinyl edition, pressed in Tansy Yellow and available in limited quantities.
