Released in 1997 as the companion to Load, ReLoad collected the songs Metallica held back from those same sessions, a long, blues-streaked record that moved further from thrash into the band's mid-period restlessness. This remastered edition spreads all seventeen tracks across two 180-gram LPs.

It opens with Fuel and closes with Fixxxer, with The Memory Remains and The Unforgiven II near the front.

Deluxe Box Set edition

The one-time numbered Deluxe Box Set expands the album into a full archive: the remastered album on 180g 2LP and CD, the previously unreleased live set Live At Ministry Of Sound '97 on 140g 3LP, a The Memory Remains 7", and 15 CDs and 4 DVDs of demos, rough mixes, B-sides, rarities and live and behind-the-scenes footage. It also includes an MP3 download card, a 128-page hardcover book, a Pushead print, a Gimme Fuel poster, three tour laminates, guitar picks, a pack of Rorschach cards and a lyric folder — twenty-five discs in all.
