Media Puzzle is a mysterious figure in Lismore's nightlife, named after the Irish horse that won the 2002 Melbourne Cup. After three scuzzy post-punk albums that earned a Rough Trade vinyl feature and Pitchfork praise, New Racehorse is their most collaborative record yet — ditching the drum-machine egg-punk for oddball pop and garage punk, for fans of early Beck, Uranium Club and DEVO.
